The Treaty of Passarowitz, signed in 1718 between the Ottoman Empire and Austria and Venice, brought the ongoing wars to an end.

While the Ottomans recovered the Morea from Venice, they were obliged to cede important territories such as Belgrade and its surroundings to Austria. The treaty shaped the diplomatic environment of the ensuing Tulip Era.
