Voyager Probes Launched

1977 CE · Dünya · science

In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes to study the outer planets of the Solar System.

The probes collected valuable scientific data and images about Jupiter, Saturn, and subsequently some other planets. After completing their missions, the Voyager spacecraft continued their journeys toward the outer boundaries of the Solar System. They carried aboard a "Golden Record" containing sounds and images from Earth. The Voyager missions are among the longest-running projects in space exploration.
